We have a real passion for supporting & lifting team members across all areas of our team, from our marketing to production. Nothing is more exciting than seeing someone feel empowered & supported like they’ve grown and levelled up to a new place, be it through their experiences and learning or a sweet new item of clothing which makes them feel like a badass babe

We’re Lady K Loves, UK’s premier ethical vintage-inspired fashion brand. Our woven range focuses on creating beautiful separates which can be combined to make a unique vintage-inspired capsule wardrobe. LKLJeans is a range of vintage style jeans for rock’n’roll chicks who care about how their clothes are made. Unlike other brands, LKLJ flatters women’s figures because the cuts are based on our community’s body shapes & measurements.

Kessie – Founder

Hi! I’m Kessie, I founded, own & run Lady K Loves. I have a passion for supporting women by helping them to feel great in their appearance, encouraging people to step forward confidently.

What was your favourite outfit to wear as a child?

It’s a hard one to pick! Definitely a pink, orange & yellow pineapple print dress with matching headband, Minnie Mouse Cheerleader jeans or this dress right here which I wish I still had (I would totally still wear this!)

I’m at the bar, what’s your drink?

Tequila lime & soda please, I love sweet & sour flavours.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

Our customers & community getting back in touch to say how much they love their item.

And when it’s time to chill out, what makes you happy?

Beach times, yoga, being in the sea, a walk in the countryside, roller skating even though I’m rubbish, with all these lockdowns I’m missing the gym

What was your favourite outfit to wear as a child?

From what I can remember, anything spice girls related or purple. Until I hit the grunger phase and then it was all about the flares and a studded belt!

I’m at the bar, what’s your drink?

Gotta be a Gin & tonic. Bonus points if there is an orange flavoured gin! Yes please!

What’s your favourite part of your job?

Oh my gosh, for starters, I feel so honoured to work for an incredible business which holds such an important message. I get to be creative, make content and simply, have fun! I love getting stuck in with ideas and seeing the business grow. The zoom meetings are always exciting, finding out the LKL goss’ and seeing what’s next! Oh & the photoshoots are a laugh too… phew!

And when it’s time to chill out, what makes you happy?

If at home, you’ll usually find me on the sofa, snuggled in a blanket with the cats and watching a horror film or the latest crime documentary. If I go out, I love a pub, a craft market or a vintage fair. But sometimes, just simply spending some time with my husband is all I need! Not sure he’d say the same ?
