I really wanted to love these trousers – I love the high-waist look. I’m glad I sized up (I’m usually 14-16, but could only just the XXL over my hips, could have done with an extra inch of zip). I would normally wear HMB jeans, and these trousers don’t have quite enough width in the hip or length in the rise for me to be comfortable, but are baggy and not very flattering around the crotch and a bit big around the waist. If you wear a more ‘regular’ fit jean, I think you’d love these trousers – the top detailing is lovely and the material is great.
